Today marked my 4th day at my new job. I cannot help but notice that my coworkers spend a large amount of time each day insulting each other and playing stupid games. It almost seems like I'm back in elementary school, yet these people are all older than I am. I am curious why seemingly normal adults participate in idiotic, childish and overall unproductive behavior. Is it a sociological thing? Group bonding? Or am I truly in a confederacy of dunces?
