Got English Teaching Job

I was sacked around 3 years back from my computer teaching job
and last 3 years i spend time understanding myself, world, people, my childhood everything else.

After 3 years of homework now i have tried searching for job
after myself rejecting some job offers because of long work hours, less pay etc.
finally i found a English Speaking teaching job with a NGO its a part time job 6 days a week

There was 3 session of interview first interview i was asked about my qualification,
2nd interview i was grilled about my background and 3rd final interview was all about
understanding me.

I was quite cool about it and did not try to pretend, fake etc
The trustee told that i speak generic things and could not explain myself well
But thats me....i did not want to fake myself get a job and ultimately lose it in the end
So lets see what is expected now there are going to be a mock class teaching session also
But i have been told that im hired and have to report to work from 9th of this month

I dont know how long this job will last.........

Ok grammar mistakes quite possible since im poor in grammar...

And even the trustee pointed out while checking my essay that my grammar was poor...

I think they're typos. That or after time in Asia plurals have become irrelevant to you.

Congratulations, Namaste! Remember, it's the lesson preparation that will make or break you as an EFL/ESL teacher. Just prepare thoroughly for each and every lesson, and your teaching skills and your English skills will improve along with you. Be prepared for a steep learning curve and putting in lots of extra preparation time at first, and for some frustrating days. It DOES get easier if you stick with it. Also, take any teacher development classes you can. Good luck!

Actually the job is with a NGO run by a big investment banking and mutual fund company.
This company hires some teachers and sends them to teach in vernacular poor schools where slum children are coming and they will benefit from learning little bit of English.
THe NGO probably would be getting some tax benefit or rebate and I will get a job
The training module, study material, books everything is provided by the company and they will train us for one month before sending us to actually teach in the school.

The stress as already started I had asked them to let me join from 9th since my sons school will start from that and since he is gone to school i would be free.....
Initially they agreed but now they insist that i join from 6th which means i will have to keep my son in daycare for longhours which involves loads of money from my pocket and stress of tantrums thrown in by my son....

The management person called me today and told me that im too shy, too quite it looks like im egoistic and others would think that im rude...she asked me to mingle with others

Everyone else is also asking me why im so shy and quite...its embrassing

The work space is filled with NT jokes, fun, laughter but im silent spectator...

Namaste, look for teaching jobs in government schools or colleges. These days even school teachers have a fat salary in India.
