My current boss is getting promoted, he'll be taking over a department in another state. I disclosed my diagnosis to him some time ago and he's been very accommodating. He let me remove the lights above my desk, he allowed me more flexible hours, and he made an honest effort to be more clear and precise in communicating what he needed from me. I found out today that he kept it to himself, he never told anybody else.

So now starting Monday I'll have a new boss who doesn't know. I'm debating on whether to tell him or not, or if I should tell human resources. There's also the remote possibility that my old boss could take some heat for not telling human resources to begin with and I don't want that to happen. I'm extremely loyal to him.

That's awesome that he was respectful of your privacy. He did the right thing.
You get to start with a clean slate, and decide how you want to handle the new situation.

He's fine. For real, they love him as much as you do. He's getting the promotion, right?

I don't have answers there buddy. Could be a big deal, could be nothing. Depends on the people you talk to.
