I'm an editor and writer. It's what I get paid to do. I love to write. I like it better than anything else in the world. Editing is ok. I like encouraging other writers and promoting their work.
But I can't deal with politics and emotional arguments and drama.
So I've decided to quit my "dream job" and go back to spread sheets. The stress of pushing against the grain is too much. So now I'll be alone in an office with spreadsheets and answering a phone all day.
Even though that is tedious and far from my "dream job," I'm really looking forward to it. The quiet, the logical orderliness of it all. I think it's going to be awesome.
But it really sucks that my AS makes it so difficult to be able to do my dream job. Really sucks.
