for those who are currently unemployed, what do you usually do during the day? I enjoy shopping and searching for work online but was wondering if there's anything more proactive I could be doing with my time.

Walk to the gym, clean the house. Otherwise I'm up to no good.

Routine is everything to me, when it goes awry, I get very depressed.

I tend to do a lot of housework in the morning, then set aside time to look for work, though lately it's just become a ritual that I'm heartily sick of, lying through my teeth just for the chance of an interview.

I'll eat my lunch and watch a Mad Men on Netflix, then spend the afternoon working in the garden before getting the dinner ready for when my wife comes home.

When the savings and my wife's patience run out, what then?
