I just need to make you guys aware of some issues that have been affecting me over the past few months.

I am trying to make a change - but there are some people (not you guys - you're trying to help as much as you can), who don't play by the rules, and through no fault of my own, has got me into deep personal strife.

Here's the situation that needs to be solved:-

I am trying to pay off a $9,500 Credit Card Debt, but cannot move from my current place, due to lack of opportunities, and the fact that my place I am renting from is from my parents.  My parents cannot lower my rent from $500.00 (which is half my take home pay) - due to circumstances beyond their control.  If I do tell them the situation - I will get into trouble for not budgeting properly - yet I am trying to survive with the very few funds I have.  I also feel that living with my parents again will be a living hell.

I have very few luxuries, and if I give them up, essentially I have nothing, and therefore I will feel a lot more depressed if I give it up.

I am now trying to get a job down the coast - the couple of emails I have tried haven't been promising, and a few people have given me a very cruel dose of reality - The Union can't help me, nor can the Bank, nor some other people - it is a very depressing situation.

I am trying to juggle all of these aspects of my life with little or no success. Please help.

Can you walk into a United Way office in your area? I had trouble paying off student loans and the United Way was a huge help. They sent me to a credit counselling agency for help. Good luck!

Issue with that is the anxiety of going in there in the first place. Quite a few people call me a loser - even my parents. I don't need any more stress.

I lived through a bankrupcy 3 years ago. it was hard, my life and lifestyle changed, but I'm out of debt now and much better off for it.

life is hard, there's no way around it.
