I get along real well with mines. I usually go out for lunch with them, and a few us like to go on coffee breaks a few times and a week chit chat. Good people.

The people that I work closest with, for the most part yes, we all get along very well and enjoy working together. They understand that I may be quirky and odd, but that I have good intentions always, and they give me the benefit of the doubt.

As to the other people I work with less intensely but in our same small building, its hit or miss ;) and me being in I.T. yeah, I'm not the only odd duck in the bunch. :D

I was diagnosed with ADD and Aspergers at a young age, but refused to take meds for it, but as I entered the workforce, I have been through a lot of jobs lasting a short amount of time and bosses were never very happy with my performance so I have started taking Dexamphetamine (Dextrostat) recently, 15mg morning and 15mg before lunch, it helps me stay on task and actually get things right. The boss seems to be happy anyway.

I have had bad anxiety my whole life, so most of the time a quick "hows it going mate" in the morning, and if i ever need to ask them something related to the job I always do, apart from that like lunch time we all sit around and I say nothing most times, some days I make a few comments on the subjects they talk about if I can relate (and then think how stupid I must have sounded and regretting it), but most of the time they talk about cars and football both of which I have no interest in, so I am like a mute.

It does suck a lot when everyone thinks your weird and don't really talk to you, but work is for making cash not socializing at the end of the day, and ya gotta pay ya bills...

I take 2.5mg Valium an hour before smoko and 2.5 an hour before lunch, it used to help a lot more but i am a bit tolerant now but I don't want to raise my dose, even though its so easy for me to get scripts I don't want to be dependent on huge doses.

No, the people I work with think I'm very very antisocial. I have trouble opening up to them because the job situation is not ideal. But at my other job, I get along very well with 1 and I'm polite to the others but I dont really talk to them. I think I've only been in one work enviorenment where I got along well with the people I worked with and thats cause our professor was super social able and created a huge social vibe where a lot of us ended up talking to each other. Normally in work situations I'll end up talking to a few people and not so much to others

More or less. I don't become BFFs with people I am in business with, but I keep it professional and polite work chat.
