Something that is not hard, manual labor, and something that does not involve social interaction, and someplace that will actually review my application and write back to me, and also someplace that will hire me. I have applied for many places and nobody seems to want to interview me... :p

Temp Agency websites confuse me, and most include manual labor. I have about a month to find a job...

And I don't know what to do now... I have applied for jobs before with no avail as well. Am I destined to live under a bridge? Sigh... T^T

Are you able to visit the temp agencies in person? Also, just curious: how come you only have one month to find a job?

There are a few i can meet in person, but they mainly do harsh, physical labor jobs, and I don't do well with harsh, physical labor... why do you ask?

And a little over a month due to me being 20 and parents wanting me to find one or my summer will not be pleasant... :p

Are you physically unable to take hard work? Do you get confused because of noises and confusion?

I do not know where you are, but does your area have a vocational service for people with developmental disabilities? What are your resources?

I think that most of your manual labor jobs will be physically hard. I am looking for a job as well, and have had to turn down a few due to various physical problems. I have a doctor who told me that under no circumstances am I to do work where I stand in place for more than 4 hours at a time. On the other hand, standing and walking is allowable. So I could become a meter reader for the electric company, or a mail man, but not a factory worker.

As far as no one will hire you. You have to have about 100 applications, to get a few or even one actual interview. You have to "ace" the interview, and be exactly what they want.

With only 1 month to get a job, you may need to settle for something you do not like to get income coming in while you continue looking for a job. Jobs that do not require any contact with customers would be like working as an order picker at a warehouse, an auto parts deliverer, you could work as a dog walker if you like animals-- or work at a dog day care.

I also cannot work with "customers," because I am not good with the glad-handing and fake smiles. I don't mind working with people who have problems they need to be solved as long as they don't want me to be friendly-- I am not mean, just "neutral." Believe it or not, a data base entry typist might be good too. You sit on your butt in a chair and type all day long.

Anyway good luck.
