I do exactly that at my actual job, as well as my other tasks. I've no formal training except my work experience though so I'm certainly not a certified database technician, but like I said, working with SQL databases is part of my current job.

I didn't apply; I have all the skills but only 3 of the actual technical requirements...

Required Qualifications:


Previous experience with Postgres nope
Previous experience with Linux system use nope
Previous experience with Excel yep
Prefer experience with the TroyResearch research systems nope
Prefere experience working in a less rigid workplace and/or home-based environment yep
Must have computer with reliable high speed Internet connections with browser of Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, high capacity (20 mb or higher) email and Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) yep
