I have a GED. I don't know if I should vote "high school" or "less than high school". It's supposedly a "high school equivalent" but probably isn't as useful in reality.

The last grade I completed "properly" was 7th - I fluked through 8th somehow, despite never attending, and ended up leaving at the beginning of 9th. I've spent many years regretting that decision, and ultimately getting nowhere in life.

Here's the thing... you don't need any of that to get into uni. Next year I'm going to join Open Foundation, a university course open to anyone who didn't finish school, which gives you the qualifications to go on and complete pretty much any bachelor's degree (except for medicine). In 5 years time, I can quite easily see myself being a qualified IT professional.

I think in the workforce, a GED does count as the equivalent of a high school diploma.

I would classify it as a high school education for this.

I'm a high school senior and voted "high school". I'm 3/4 of the way done, so it seems "less than high school" wouldn't really fit.

Master's degree, but it was a pretty lightweight program that only had a couple of serious courses, the rest were either upper level undergraduate courses or grad courses that were just expanded versions of undergrad coursework. Only had to do a comprehensive exam, no thesis or anything like that.

The field was accounting, and many of these graduate programs are basically like a CPA exam review course pumped full of air.....

I knew someone in college who dropped out of high school at 16 and got her GED so that she could go to college early, so it would seem you could use it for college admission.

Also, 2-year associates degrees aren't listed on here.

Darn it - I put college degree without scrolling down to see M.D.!
Pity, doesn't seem I can go back and change it, but I'd have liked to be that one person. I don't practice though - left a long time ago...

High school is roughly equivalent to sixth colleges and technical colleges

College is university in the UK

After a bit of research a J.D is just another type of degree, one where two disciplines re studying along slide each other. In the UK they are called a joint honours degree.

I believe J.D. here means a law degree, a Juris Doctorate.

I voted some college since I did take fun classes at the local community college when I was 19. No degree.

I am a master's degree holder, although my current job has nothing to do with it.
