Translators/Polyglots

With all the Aspies here, I'm curious to know whether any of you are working from home as freelance translators? Being able to get away from the world has been awesome - and I work through agencies so I don't even have to deal with clients!
What about other languages? How many languages do you speak? I am from South Africa, but I don't speak any African languages - but I'm good at Japanese and German (my two translation languages), and am learning Russian at the moment.
