Making a list of things my supervisor does that suck

These things might sound arbitrary, but my spider senses are tingling at work..... there's been increasing hostility towards me from my shift lead. What I've been assuming is his humor style, which is basically to pick on me, put me down, it's gettting a little out of hand.

So I'm gonna document this here, in case I need to recall things specifically, and also you guys get to read it, maybe it's interesting.....

I did the class clown thing at work to try and fit in socially, it's kinda my buffer. I make a lot of jokes, a lot of self depricating jokes. I works, but I'm realizing that if your a dick, it wont be enough to see the class clown pick on himself, and you'll start to join in.

The guy is a tall skinny dude, probably somewhere on the spectrum, listens to heavy metal, doesn't have a lot of friends, hates people...super unforgiving profectionist who's probably harder on himself than anyone else.....ultra serious, wants to be a cop, super egotistical(I liked the guy at first, but the whole "I'm awesome thing" started wearing me down.) Everything he says is about him......

I had a hard time learning the job, or at least I thought I did, so I kinda went with the whole "I'm a stupid smart person" thing to try to mask my insecurity at sucking at the job! That was my comedic way of dealing with it. Bad move on my part.

The guy calls me princess, said I was one of those ret*ds who puts the square peg in the round hole, breaks me down sometimes, "look at so and so, he's better and faster than you" always makes reference to me being lazy or bad at my job, which is untrue. I'm actually pretty good at my job, better than others who have been there for awhile. And my store manager seems to love me, we actually get a long quite well after a rough start.

I have a thing I say "no worries" which I've said for years, and this dude keeps saying "That was my thing" as in, he used to say that....(seriously....your upset that I stole your catch phrase.....)

I also notice that if he's not bossing me around, he's simply doing a task for me. I interpret this as, he doesn't know how to tell me what do without being a bossy dick, so he just does it for me....which seems super dysfunctional.

Oh, and last night, he followed me outside twice as I was taking care of tasks on the outside patio. Completely uncharacteristic of him. It put me off actually as being totally outside the pattern. And I see him "time" other people's breaks so they are exactly ten minutes, and I notice him walking into the break room at exactly the time I was supposed to start work.


MAYBE I'm being paranoid, that is a possibility, but I'm pretty sure something is up, there are other things that I didn't write down.....the only thing he can get me on, what I'm GUILTY of is swearing and saying inappropriate things....in front of customers.....rarely......lol it's bad and I gotta try super hard to not do that....BUT....this dude is creating a hostile work enviroment.......

So this report is saved on the internet.... most likely, the guy's just a dick, and he's getting sick of me, we work together a lot....

If there IS something going on, it's hilarious, because I'm onto him being onto ME lol.

TLDR: I'm either paranoid, or they ARE out to get me lolol

You've overlooked the one thing that negates your entire list: You Have A Job!
