My probation of one year is almost up!

So far, no bad news outrightly!
And it seems like only good news!

Three weeks til I hear for good!

My question: do managers usually give advance notice if probation's not going well? I have had barely any chances for feedback. They seem good. But I usually just don't do sarcasm either.

Nice. I just got off mine like a month ago and although it didn't really change anything, on some strange level it was a load off.

We get quarterly reviews though, and while the people that actually complete the reviews hardly see me work at all, I feel like the stone cold average reviews I've gotten thus far are a pretty accurate description of my work habits

In my case? No. I had a probation period of a month and was nervous to hear if i passed. I did pass, but barely. I had a lot to work on back then.

I am pretty sure you don't have to worry about it as you only seem to have gotten good news and i doubt the positive feedback was sarcasm. The only reason i could think of why they would fire you is because of the recession and they need to cut down on employees. If that's not the case you should have a very good chance of keeping your job.

Good luck! :)
