No one is hiring me as a waitress, cashier, or anything. I been on Craigslist the past 5 days applying everywhere!! ! I'm going to interviews and rejected. Cosmetology school won't pay that well, and I been debating about it, and that's not even my passion. Nursing school will take me too long because of the wait list. I am desperate for money/skills/training for some sort of a career, and that is lucrative at the same time for the time value. I just need something, since I been stuck at home for so long now it's getting crazy.

And I just called a tattoo shop, on a whim, because they are looking for full-time apprentices **they just put an add in late March on facebook**... I'm a great artist, but haven't drawn seriously in years, so I need to work harder on this skill.

So I have to create a portfolio by Thursday because I set up in interview with them today. If I create an epic portfolio, I should get the job easily. I am doing nothing with my time, so I might as well.

I'm like "omg", but I feel like this is the best decision I ever took in my life.

Is making tattoos really something you want to do? I don't think it would make you feel any better if you're going to do something you don't like/care about.

But if you do, good luck on Thursday and good luck with making your epic portfolio! :D

It's the best career for me honestly. I research it, and the pay can range from 18k-100+k depending on how good you are, but it seems like it's a tough career to break into. It wouldn't be so hard for me though.

It does take more than 5 days to find a job...
As far as tattooing, it can be a great job for the right person, but I wouldn't get too hung up on the $100k number... That sounds like it might be more like those Miami Ink people...
Keep at it!
