It had my levels of anxiety and depression through the roof. It was to the point where thoughts of suicide haunted me every day. Working all day for 8/10/12 hours without a break finally took its toll.

What's next on my agenda is getting some needed sleep, then I'll look for a job at an employment agency like Labor Ready.

I know how it feels to be stressed at work. No job is worth your sanity! I have had a few jobs that I was close to walking out on. Due to family obligations, I just can't do that unfortunately. If I did just up and quit one day, I would have to make up a reason why I was "fired" to cover myself from being ostracized.

I also have anxiety, so I tend to have more trouble than others starting or finding work. I find looking for work almost just as stressful, especially when your family is constantly breathing down your neck!

Are you planning to write some stories?

I'm aware that you've already got one book out there - maybe if you keep going you can gather a fanbase.

Funds will probably be low at first, but it's better than nothing after all :3

Oh. I understand your reply to my post better now. And I understand about your levels of depression and anxiety. If you worked at a nursing home, you had to deal with people like my poor ol' M-I-L every day, all day. She's hard to get along with under the best of circumstances, and if she's ill it's even worse. And there's all the corporate rules you have to deal with, too.

Have you looked into closed-captioning? I work mostly on my own all day. If you're a writer, you must have a pretty fair grasp of English, and if you could do nursing, you must have the patience to listen to boring shows all day long.

I hope you don't mind my asking this. If it comes off as too personal my apologies.....but.......how long did you hold that job down for?
