I am on my way to becoming a paleontologist. :D

Good for you! I wanted to be a paleontologist when I was in primary school; then I shifted my attention to extant species and considered either ethology or ecology. But nothing came of it, eventually. :P

I am majoring in Paleo-Ecology and Paleo- Botany.

I also moonlight/ volunteer at a train museum because i still love trains. :D

A flight attendant, a teacher and a pilot. None of these were realistic really and I would like to teach a class at a junior college. Since I grew up moving around I wanted to be a flight attendant and also learn to speak a foreign language too so I could go on international flights. I'm actually quite good at learning languages and have studied French, Spanish and even a little bit of Italian.

A turner.

I am, but it's usually restricted to work related things. I have not the time to turn things for the pleasure of doing so.

I wanted to be an architect. I read a book on architecture. I didn't do well in school and now I'm not sure if I'd be inclined to anything that artistic.

I'm not sure about the ages, but it started with me wanting to be a vet. Then somehow I became very interested in dead stuff. I used to collect things like the skulls of dead birds, dried up dead snakes etc. I found and such. It grossed people out but it really was quite interesting :P. This sort of lead to me wanting to become a coroner for a while. Eventually though, I got into computers quite a bit and ended up becoming a software developer instead.

Now I just want to become a millionaire so I don't HAVE to work...

Since about age 8: Archaeologist, I remember have a few teachers that got really made at me for saying that during those "what do you wanna be when you grow up" exercises because they couldn't spell it when they were writing on the board. I've always loved translating the story of objects though.

Currently: Archaeologist, I posses a BA in Anthropology with a specialization in archaeology and am currently applying to graduate schools. Others currently being pursued: Artist, Writer, Poet, Inventor, Philosopher, Pool Hustler, Singer, Contrarian, Debator, Chef.

I never really thought about it much but at times I thought about being a comedian or a cop but new I could never do that due to my issues so I never considered it or thought much. I never had much clue about my disabilities or issues as a kid & mostly felt like I couldn't do things as a result of my problems I new I had but didn't understand so I never really considered or thought about what to do after high-school; I just new I did NOT want to go to college due to all the struggles i had in school due to dyslexia & physical disabilities on top of Aspergers & I never regretted not going for a second.

When I was a kid, I wanted to drive the big construction vehicles.
In high school, it was a toss up between an architect or a physicist.
But I found many architects out of work & I wasn't interested in all the petty politics in professional science.

In my 20's I wanted to work with 3D graphics. I had a couple of jobs with small game companies. I tried to break into the special effects business since I lived in Los Angeles at the time. But I had found that it is a small "inside" click and due to my social awkwardness, I somehow turned off the wrong people and was unable to get in.

In my 30's, after a brief stint building web sites & doing graphic art, I wanted to be a computer programmer. I tried to go to college, but got overwhelmed and dropped out several times. then I spent most of the 00's unemployed.

Now in my 40's I'm still perusing computer programming path, but it's going slowly learning all on my own.
I just want a job that I actually want to go to and enjoy. The money isn't that important, enough to pay my bills and save a little. (not as easy as it sounds)

I dread the idea of going back to wage slavery. I start to get suicidal thoughts when I work low income retail/factory/warehouse/etc jobs. That is such a bleak and pointless life.
