Mechanical engineer.
A lot of my relatives do that. They get paid a lot. Most of them work no more than 40 hours per week (unlike many other professions). One of my uncles requested the night shift because it gives him more time to do stuff during the day. One of my cousins does engineering work in an office and the amount of socialising he does is minimal because the other engineers there are also introverts.
I'm tempted to follow them if I can improve my maths skills.
I loved working with engineers, especially the mechanical engineers.
LOL... and they used to laugh, that only I could work with a bunch of engineers and still be considered the odd one.
I don't work directly with any nerds now, so, I miss it, but, being a system administrator, my coworkers just accept my oddities as 'an IT thing.'
