Has anyone applied to work for this Aspie-friendly company? I did. They had me take a test where I had to compare "spec pages" of a website to "site pages." They said I failed the test, but I'm confused as to how. I thought I was very thorough. Has anyone else applied there?

What were the criteria for passing the test?
Did you have to write a report about the site usability?

I am not familiar with the company. Though, based upon the web site, it seems interesting. The site claims 20% increase in bug detection rate. Which, based upon my experience in software development, makes sense. Any time I test, I easily find issues that others just plain miss. Though, that is with functional testing. According to the site, they offer other types of testing as well. One of those, I personally wouldn't not do well at - which is Design QA, which includes "Pixel Perfection to Comps". This basically involves visually determining if something is off by a pixel or so. I have known people who are exceptional at that. I am not.

Just curious - do you have experience in software QA? If so, how does your experience "map" to the services they provide?

I have a friend who I think is on the spectrum and he catches things at a pixel level. I have a 2560x1440 27" monitor, so pixels are pretty small and he catches that crap all the time. Since he's unemployed I should suggest he get tested for ASD (which I'm 90% certain he'd get a positive) and have him apply-- they'd love him since his greatest joy is finding flaws, lol.
