I'm starting to get more and more that acting and the industry isn't so much about fame as it is about craft, like earlier when I told everyone in my life that "I want to be famous someday!"

But as weird as it sounds, I want to start taking an actual interest in being on stage and see where It lands me. Do you think this will still hurt me? Sure, I no longer care about the fame or anything, but I have other ways to convince myself that it will be a good fit. I might not even do it full-time at all, but it will be cool to be in film like that.

I even felt like picking up a youth acting book from the local library.

What are your guys opinion?

Why would you want to prostitute yourself? It's generally known that Noo Yawk, LaLa Land, Ch!tcahgoh and London Stage, TV and Movie studios are nothing more than sausage grinders, and, in a lot of cases, worse than the music industry. Forget about the stage or motion picture production. Do something useful, like starting a dairy farm.
