Our company is expanding soon and that's what we discussed in our meeting. We want to get help from providers in terms of IT staffing solutions. We want to save time from screening highly skilled employees for the position. Do you have any suggestions or referrals that could fill in our needs regarding technical competency and staff outsourcing strategy? We will greatly appreciate your advice for this.

Go through a temp agency. They usually have a ready list of pre-screened applicants, needing only to be interviewed by an employer.

Perhaps the best place to begin evaluating your staffing requirement is to define your specific business needs and write a list of responsibilities that will cover them. From there, you can either assign the responsibilities to existing positions (if your staff are working less than 10 hours of overtime per week, then there's still plenty of slack in your current workforce). If the responsibilities are outside of the scope, depth, or capacity of your current workforce, then create a position description. From the position description you may find that a temp will suffice, but bear in mind that temps will not have the technical expertise or organizational background to solve complex issues. If you have a one-off complex issue, an IT firm on contract might be your best bet. If you have a sporadic or periodic issue, an IT firm on retainer or turnkey agreement could be the answer. If your issue is complex and ongoing, hiring an IT professional to your staff may just be your ticket. No one here knows your business better than you, but keeping an open mind and thinking outside of the box often leads to the best (or sometimes the worst) solutions.
