I've got a job as a secretary for this reading program at a school. I get paid one dollar per test and manuscript I type. I start tommorrow.

The problem???

Congrates....if it is not to presomptious of me to mention(and I have AS,so who cares if it is)....

make sure you have everything you need for work packed(food,tampons,drinks,lotion and lip chap stick,etc) and by your door before you go to sleep,and your clothes and shoes laid out and ready to wear.Then set as many alarms as you own several hours ahead of time to leave and make sure your keys are hanging by your door.

The reason I mention this is because I am a space case.I am always nervious and disorientated before I begin a job,often cant sleep the night before and always think I will have enough time to get ready and never do and end up rushing around looking for everything and being late(or worse,not going at all because I think I will be late and get yelled at)...

I wish you good luck,let us know how it goes.(Personally,even thinking about "visiting" my old school and smelling the nasty smells,hearing the kids yelling,makes me feel like throwing up.)

Heh,I got paid eight dollars today.

It wasn't so bad except I was from eight in the morning until eleven. And this boy kept on giving me weird looks. I was so pissed,I almost cussed him out.

Congratulate yourself on your great restraint in not cussing him out.Since we dont read faces to well,all looks are strange.It could have been anything from finding you atrractive to being curious who you were.Dont assume the worse and risk your new job,he isnt worth it.
