For you working folks,

Do you use any kind of project management tools like Microsoft Project or OmniProject? Are there other things that help you stay organized and on task?

One of my big struggles is managing a lot of simultaneous complex web site projects, especially staying on schedule and on budget. I've got Microsoft Outlook to remind me of meetings and deadlines, and note programs for a list of things to do, but it doesn't seem to do the job for me. I wind up forgetting a deadline, or getting so focused on fiddling with a minor problem that I go over budget. Clients ask me for estimates, and I frequently give them too low a number because I am terrible at estimating how long the tasks will take. Then I wind up having to absorb some of the cost overrun. :(
