Seeking input please
Hello!
This is not a marketing ploy or advertisement. We are looking for your reaction to our plan and input on training topics.
My business partner and I are launching a consulting service to provide behaviorally-based soft skills solutions to companies. Our intended plan is 2 fold. We offer trainings to individuals, teams, and whole companies on communication in the workplace, tips for bolstering executive functioning, and awareness of sensory processing at work. Additionally, we work with HR departments on awareness of invisible or hidden disabilities, HIPAA & ADA, performance enhancement/support/teachable moments vs punitive measures, and on-boarding practices.
We are unique in our qualifications to provide this service as I am a BCBA who has worked to connect behavioral principles with social cognitive strategies, thus breaking down complex social concepts into teachable steps or chunks. My business partner holds several HR certifications, was a director of HR for a major company for a decade, and has a son who was diagnosed with Asperger's/HFAS.
We don't want to launch our service without the input of adults in the workforce with hidden disabilities. We are networking locally to get as much input as possible, but I thought taking to the internet would serve us well too. This is where you come in! Below I will include some sample topics (there are many more, but I tried to keep this a relatively quick read) for which we offer training. Please comment with any critique, support, additions, subtractions, etc. We really appreciate any feedback you may have! Thanks in advance!
