Forbes (big US business magazine) has just published a list of the 100 best work-from-home companies (according to them):

http://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2 ... emote-jobs

There's loads of spam out there about work-from-home jobs, but this may be a more reliable listing for people who want to explore this option. I've only scanned it so far, but plan to study it more carefully soon.

Does anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with any of the companies listed?

If you're looking for legitimate work-from-home opportunities, I would suggest checking into FlexJobs: https://www.flexjobs.com/ It's not a free service, but if you look around you can find a coupon code usually to make it just $5 for the first month, which may be worth it to give it a shot and see if you can find something you like. I am strongly interested in having my next job be a work-from-home job and I've bought a year subscription to their service to keep an eye on job postings and watch for when I want to make my move. (I have an in-person job right now which has some complications, so I don't need a new job immediately but may want to move jobs within a year, so wanted to watch postings for awhile to find something that would be best for me.)

Like I said, FlexJobs isn't free. The service that you pay for is that they, presumably, screen all postings and ensure they're legitimate before posting them. For me, I'm an accountant with some experience looking for a more experienced job. Those postings are really hard to find usually, so the fee was worth it to me to have them all pulled together into one place. But I know that paying for job listings isn't common and whether they're worth it to someone else or not will vary.
