I just wrote a job application in English. Do you like it? It's for a administrative job in a small telecommunications company. I'm responding to a job advert, but I can't link it - I'm afraid I'll blow my cover if you know what I mean. Read it and give it a vote up above. Thanks!

Need help with archiving?

If you need help with document management, I can make sure your goals are met and the documents are easily found when they are needed.
With a high attention to detail, I can organize the documents and ensure that my colleagues have easy access to all the documents they need – I can respond quickly to document enquiries and make sure that everything is in order.

I can manage a document management system, and I can make sure the documents are archived and indexed correctly. That way, the rest of the organization can have easy access to the documents. I created my own document management system for a small IT company, and I can move on to something bigger like yours. I am a good friend of several IT systems, and can learn how to use yours in no time.
Dispatching information can be complicated, and it is important to know who has access to what – that is why I like asking questions and have a curious mind.

In my previous jobs, I have registered and archived large amounts of documents. I can do the same for you – with a short introduction, I can navigate the classification in co-operation with the management.

There is a lot of things I can do with MS Office: I can easily create automated database exports, create PDF documents, fix formatting problems and publish documents of different types – including technical drawings and graphical presentations. In a digital age of documents, it is important to make sure the documentation is preserved in a correct manner – with me on the team, I can make sure the data and information is available and lives up to technical demand for easy access. That way, it becomes easier for engineers and other employees to share their knowledge.

If you need to finish documentation and fix errors, I can proofread, handle text formatting, convert file types and other administrative tasks.

I am fluent in speaking and writing in English – I have worked in an international organization, and I have written several manuals as well as translation. I am used to speaking and writing English on a high level. I can write progress reports and make sure the project objectives are met.
In my current job, I work with communication and dissemination on the web, which is good for any external communication demand.
I look forward from hearing from you,

best regards
[my name]

It looks really good! It's clear and to the point.

Something I noticed is that you are using 'I can' a lot. Maybe you should try changing that up a bit. Just with some different words that mean the same.

But if not, it's still good!

I'm sure you have a reason not to tell them your diagnosis, but in this kind of job maybe Asperger is a good thing. I've done a filing job once and they hired me because I mentioned my Aspergers and explained to them why that helped me to do that job even better.
But I know it's not always a good idea to mention it.

Good luck!

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the words "I can" are there too often. It would be nice to write things that are not about me, little me, but what else can I say?

English is not my first language, so I'm having trouble with that!

Maybe things like 'I'm able to.. ' 'Something that comes easy to me is..'

Does anybody else have a comment on this? Or at least a vote? I sent it yesterday and I have a funny feeling they will ignore it. Job hunt is SO frustrating.
