In a family where both parents are breadwinners/work why is it 'sometimes' that the mother will get more praise and respect from her children than the father does?

Is it perhaps something to do with women having to work harder to make there way up the ladder in the working world compared to men?

Because her husband probably won't be able to make enough money on his own to support her and the child. I mean I personally think it should be viable for the mother or father to be the 'breadwinner' and the other to be a stay at home parent but society doesn't really support that unless you're very wealthy. I mean most people in my age group couldn't afford a one bedroom apartment them-self let alone a duplex or a house the only option is multiple room-mates. So how is a couple who has a child supposed to survive with just one parent working? I mean in this society unless your disabled your expected to be working for an employer and even then people will question why you're not working.

It's something that's praised in western society like a baby saying something for the first time. Often the man who has less rights and depending on race has even less rights often is person who holds up the family often without praise as he keeps the family in line

Thankfully progressives are too busy killing their children and not breeding and thus being overwhelmed with cultures that do not share their beliefs at all

Hmm I haven't been hearing anything in the news about progressives regularly murdering their children. Though I think in the past few years I've heard cases of fanatics of the christian sort killing their children.

But by children do we even mean the same thing I wonder? or are you one of those people that believe someone like me ought to be forced to endure pregnancy and have a baby should contraception fail rather than having an abortion ASAP?

It's because the mother basically has double work: raising the kids and working. It's a very difficult thing to do, especially if she's a single parent. My mother had to do that

In the past, the man would be the breadwinner, and the wife would remain at home raising kids.
