I wrote in more detail what is going on in my latest blog post, but I will not go into the whole thing on here. How does everyone handle disagreements at work? Currently, I am caught in the middle of a disagreement and I have no idea what to do. I am not good at all handling confrontation and am so scared of messing up at work. Am I better off just staying quiet and letting them figure it out on their own, or should I voice my opinion?
Any advice is appreciated- thank you!

Tell 'em all to go fly a kite! LOL

Seriously....how high are you on the "totem pole" on your job, and how high is the person you're having the disagreement with?

The other person is a step above me. I haven't said anything yet about how I do not agree with the opinion, but it is really bothering me because I know if we do things the way this person wants it is going to end up hurting some people in the end.

This is a hard dilemma which Spectrum people go through all the time.

It's an ethical challenge.

I'll have to thoroughly read your blog entry.

I would keep it to myself. No purpose would be served by you expressing your opinion, and you might get hurt in some way should you express it.

You put it quite succinctly in your blog entry.

I would suggest a delicate approach since dealing with fragile egos can be so detrimental. It sounds like to me person A and person B are having a power struggle. I would suggest these two individuals sit down and hash out their differences because they are the ones causing group "in-cohesiveness" Until they reconcile their grievances there will never be peace in your little group. There is some country philosophy that is very appropriate for this situation; "you can't have two bulls in the same field"

Thank you for both for your advice. I am going to stay out of it and let the two sides figure it out themselves. I hate disagreements and I want to stay out of it as much as I can.
