Seeking Help Finding Job in NYC

Hello Everyone, I became a member a few years ago, but had since forgotten about this great forum resource. I now want to become active and am reaching out to group members for assistance.

I am in my 30's with AS living in Brooklyn, NY. I am in the process of getting divorced from my NT wife of 7.5 years and have moved back into my parents home. We have three sons: 6, 3, 3 (twins) who are living with her and visiting me.

I am currently trying to find employment anywhere commutable via Public Transportation from Brooklyn, NY (I don't drive).

I Can Not Relocate.

Can anyone recommend an organization/non-profit/company/person that can help me with my job search?

I have reached out to many people/organizations including GRASP (they don't have any help for adult employment), Specialisterne (currently working thru them, but contract is ending Dec 28, with no other jobs available) and several others.

Past positions I have had are Office Manager (managing an office, not people), Accounting/Finance and Medical Billing for a Private Out-of-Network doctor in Manhattan.

I am open as to the type of job: a position in the Finance, Purchasing, Accounting, Tax Departments of a company. I would also be open to Office Manager (managing an office, not people).

I have an IT background and am very tech savvy and would also be interested in various Tech positions (just Not programming). Examples are QA/Software Testing, Reporting ect...

I Would Not Consider any Sales Positions.

I would also want to work in an office with other co-workers. I do not enjoy being the only employee in an office all the time. Working from my parents home would not be good also because they are both retired and that would mean I would be around them all day and night which is overload for both them and me.

Please post or PM me any suggestions or ideas you have.
