Copied and pasted from a job announcement:

Medium knowledge of Spanish is required but not necessary.

Okay? Does this make sense somehow I am not understanding? I've seen other stuff contradictory in a job announcement like some of the gov. Jobs saying in one section of the announcement saying you can only be rehired next year if you didn't complete your hours but then saying later you can work as many seasons you want, but a contradictory sentence like this im just not understanding...

Just go for it. They don't know what they want.

It turned out in the end it was a pure volunteer position in Mexico... I don't have the money to work in another country and not get paid for it.
