As the subject asks... would you watch a youtube channel with someone giving tips on some of the kind of things that people talk about in this section of the forum?

Here are some example topics:
- Interviews
- How to dress at work
- Double-standards between leadership/employees
- Aspies can be great bossess too!
- Getting people at work to understand you
- Authority!

I'd certainly be curious about the channel and I'm sure, as most posts seem to ask, people would be wondering mostly about how to interact with their coworkers. That seems to be the most difficult part.

Will you be hosting the channel?

Probs not, everyone is different, has different quirks, traits and personalities (or lack of one), it might appeal to those who fit the typical stereotype of aspie like if its geared towards highly intelligent, bubbly, confident, everything they see in someone except the social awkwardness they might have.

Thinking about it, yeah... I sort of just want an excuse to try to make random youtube stuff, and I am super interested in business and psychology.

Actually I think you've already pointed out a flaw in how I've described it... "tips" is probably a bad word... more like... talking about the difficulties, and maybe some thoughts on how the business world is so that someone could decide on their own how to work around their difficulties. I don't think i'd know enough to tell someone "you should be more bubbly"... plus, that'd be bad advice for most people x.x

So while I cant edit my OP... let me sort of change what I am asking:

Would you watch a vlog that discusses some of the difficulties regarding work, and then some discussion on business in general to help people draw their own conclusions, or at least maybe consider what they should be asking others or their bosses...

Now that i think of it, that question is very long x.x

I probably would have a bit of problem with verbosity lol... but that's what editing is for right?

I think it might be more helpful than an NT trying to give advice about it, I mean even with good intentions a lot of the advice doesn't make sense or doesn't address the difficulties of aspergers. Like they might tell you what you need to do or should do, but not how to do it....if that makes sense. It would be good to hear from people on the spectrum as to what problems they have ran into and what has worked well for them.

I am glad you feel that way. I happen to be somewhat successful but only recently diagnosed. Business, behaviors, influence, and psychology are all special interests of mine. I love that stuff and could read for hours on it, and probably talk for hours on it as well. I've had bosses and NT people give me the kind of coaching and advice that they'd give to NT employees throughout my career, and it was by ignoring some of that advice that I've managed to put myself in a pretty good spot professionally. I'd love to share some of those thoughts with others. I don't know if it'd be any good, I might suck at it lol... but it could be fun to try anyway.

Based on the results I think I am going to do it even if it probably won't actually be any good. I mean... I'd have to learn and I am sure that if I try doing it the first several videos will be crap but that's how you learn lol...
