Are there any jobs I would be a good fit?? I currently work as a pharmacy clerk but the job comes with daily stress and anxiety. I can't multitask well (which I have to do constantly), and every time a customer deviates from the standard questions I make it awkward. I've also been told that I do things too slowly as it takes longer for me to process things. I'll likely lose this job soon as I've been scheduled less and less, but I feel like I have very limited other options. Not only do I have social difficulties, but my knees are very unstable and easily dislocate so anything with squating and heavy lifting, or working somewhere with uneven ground like a field is out of the question. I'm also not good with numbers... so I don't have coding or other computer jobs to fall back on. What options do I have left? I could probably do well in jobs with occasional social interactions but not all the time. I was professionally diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age so I could try to get disability benefits like my brother has, but I'll probably be seen as too high functioning I feel like. Most people don't know I have autism and just think I'm a little quirky but I struggle so much. :(

It’s hard. Don’t do anything you are passionate about because we get obsessive and fixated about things. How about a grocery stocker and work at midnight? Or Amazon as a packer? Library has a lot of Aspies so you blend in well. Part time in an after care program — kids don’t care but it’s loud , so only part time. Do young kids, though. Just keep trying - maybe a substitute or part time ESOL teacher? They also have programs online to teach English to Chinese kids. You have to be computer savvy. You just follow their lessons. Your young so kids will live you and due to the International aspect, they won’t see your aspieness. Good luck!!

Maybe a awing or grave shift job like security where you are limited in social interaction and you can sit a lot of the time?
