I think the vibe at my workplace improved a lot ever since my toxic former coworkers and former boss left my workplace last year.

I was not the only person at my work who was glad to see them go. It felt good knowing I wasn't the only one that found them to be toxic.

Did the vibe at your workplaces improve when toxic coworkers or bosses left?

Did other people at your work feel the same way about your toxic coworkers or bosses?

My former team leader's fiancee got transferred to another city and she had to move with him. One former coworker took a full time job somewhere else once her daughter finished eighth grade and started high school. The other former coworker quit last August because she wanted to be the new team leader and wasn't chosen for it. She didn't like the new team leader and missed the old team leader.

i worked with a couple slackers who most of the others including my supervisor disliked but my supervisor didn't have the power to get rid of them. The slackers were always talking to each other instead of doing their work & they did the work of one person when they worked together. My supervisor also put me in a position where I had to check on others & report to him in addition to my other work & the two slackers were complaining about me acting like a boss. I'd ask a question when I was working with one of em cuz the job involved teamwork & I'd get accused of acting like a boss. They were also minorities who kept going on about different things being racist & I believe they got preferential treatment by management because management was afraid to fire them. They eventually suddenly quit showing up but not even management knew what was going on with them because management would ask me & others if we knew. I think they left because I got promoted to being in charge when my supervisor & his backup weren't there cuz they left shortly after that. i didn't know how to do everything but I knew who to get to do the jobs; I was a good strategist & was always working when I was on the clock & I worked alot of overtime when allowed. Anyways we've had been shorthanded a while before they left & after they left we were just more shorthanded & management kept expecting the same amount of work to get done as was getting done before so the vibe didn't really improve but nobody who was left really missed them.
