Yes, the storefront tax season is massively front-loaded with people who know they’re getting a refund. So, the job pretty much ends the first week of Feb.

It’s a semi-chaotic work environment at times. But a chance to do some good for your clients, especially if you matter-of-factly disclose main negatives of their bank and loan products.

It doesn’t sound like much, but some years back I became an informal leader and rather enjoyed it. :D

It’s really unlikely for first-year people to get a bonus. Allow the manager or other person doing the hiring to sincerely talk about it, but please don’t count on anything other than hourly pay.

H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, Liberty Tax, and probably other storefront places as well.

Working on taxes can be quite fun, especially if you get a chance to dig into the legislation and precedence.

Yes, taxes kind of appeal to my inner nerd, too! :D
