I was a student in Job corps for a year and a half. I kept a pretty thorough Live Journal account going during my time there and now I've crammed all of those entries into one big blog for everyone to read. I'm not saying you will have exactly the same experiences, but who knows? It might be worth it to read through it and see if something is relevant to your situation.

thank you for the info. i don't know if i being able to tolerate the military would have translated into youthful success in job corps, for me.

Well, he's having a hard time...he says they aren't "organized".

or at least not "organized" in a manner congenial to folk like us. in my experience the army was similarly "disorganized" and as a result i went through a wringer.
