I found a job description I couldn't resist.... Masters preferred, but Bachelor's was okay plus the job is about teaching children about raptors and I did that twice before... But there is the moving and getting out of lease issue... It's a university job so maybe they would understand?

It would be great for you. It's easy for all of us to get stuck where we are – don't let that happen. Seize the bull by the horns, or the hawk by the talons, as the case may be. :)

Are you still getting that van you were promised? Is the place too far to commute? The job sounds great but your rent is also great, and it's nice that you have your aunts in the building. I wish you could have the job without moving.

Best of luck. I hope you can make it happen. My daughter and I love the big birds. The Snowy Owl was her favorite as a kid.

How far away?

I only have to go about 15 miles to be in another state.

It's good to dream! (assuming it's within moderation)

Wishing this or a subsequent "dream" comes true!

I have some dreams to pursue myself.

That's a very long distance----Michigan to Minnesota. At least about a 7-8 hour drive.

You would get away from your uncle, etc.....but you might not get as good a deal on an apartment there.

It's an 8 hour, 45 minute drive from eastern Michigan to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Uggh, I hate when they do that, took down all the job descriptions so I can't read about it again...

I applied for a local AmeriCorps one, urban garden program Battle Creek starting in August... Local, won't affect my SSI, etc...

I take it you didn't copy it into a Word doc. I mostly do, but may have missed one.

Again, your initiative is inspiring!

I am proud to say I again looked at some job descriptions recently, and I touched up my resume. Now to hit "submit" somewhere. Actually, a world-wide crisis is a good time for me to do it. Focus out there, not inward.

Sorry about that. There will be other interviews.

I wish I could offer more solace to you.

There will be a government check coming to you within about a month.
