I like my job but it has got too repetitive lately, due to being short-staffed, and when the other cleaner comes back from vacation the supervisor seems insistant to put her doing other stuff, while every day I've just got to sweep, sweep, sweep. I am just as capable, and experienced, at the other cleaning tasks, but he seems to want her to do them even though I do a good job on whatever I'm doing. I just want a change sometimes, I think sweeping can be too easy and repetitive, and I'm starting to get a bit bored with doing the exact same thing every day.

I know I'm supposed to prefer repetitiveness because I'm Aspie, but this seems to be one of the Aspie traits that I don't have. Maybe it's because I have ADHD.

Nobody at work knows I have AS by the way.

Whenever I tell him how I feel he just says ''it's better to have her doing the other tasks so that she's out of the way'' - whatever that means. But personally I think he's a useless supervisor. I'm brilliant at all the tasks and my good skills are going to waste. I need to be challenged sometimes.
