Various things together led me to this but I'm happy and improving rapidly. I'm able to live in my Chevy volt and do door dash anywhere in the USA. I'm tall so i removed the passenger seat from the car so i can sleep, better than having a big car which most people simply have. Not only saved energy but i can drive faster, and with deliveries much faster parking etc. Pay is way up I'm making $30-70 an hour in California big cities. I have a free running advancing sleep schedule, so totally inconsistent, which works great, i drive and work till I'm tired then sleep and work again. With the electric part of this car i can use free charge stations, and especially for heat and cooling, the car uses about 1 gallon of gasoline per 4-8 hours depending on conditions, but i can fully run the heat and cool with the electric charger too. I've got a couple rental homes I'm managing and own, so even as i save money, in urban California life is unpredictable with fires etc etc, so even if i was rich, i would bare minimum occasionally sleep in my car sometimes. I actually enjoy door dash I've never a single time delivered to the same customer, and i get to learn places really fast, and i get paid to go shopping for myself for example if I'm picking up Safeway etc i buy my own stuff. The shopping factor is so big, it's almost eliminated me shopping for myself, in that i just buy what i want wherever because the time cost of savings to go out shopping on my own is usually outweighed by the savings of paying more for convenience and working more
