Micromanagement/scrutiny/cross examination has suddenly skyrocketed @ home depot.

constantly afraid of getting made redundant.

"at will" employer

a couple weeks ago, Flooring Associate John M got made redundant. after that, he won "employee of the month". :D

been working there four years five months, and all the head cashiers said i do a good job. all of a sudden, nothing i do is good enough.

(rolls eyes)

It sounds like your workplace is a bit toxic. I am sorry that you have to endure this.

yesterday, a customer gave me five bucks for loading about ten bags of chicken manure.

home depot (allegedly) instantly makes anyone caught taking tips redundant.

i've taken plenty of tips and still not made redundant thus far.

maybe tomorrow.

those idiots keep making up new laws, and enforcing them like micromanagement, scrutiny, and cross examination.

on the other hand, the front end supervisor a couple weeks ago, told the assistant manager that the FES earns under $30 hour, and i earn $21 hour, and head cashiers earn $22. so that's not much more than me. none of those morons are living the "high life" and all of them are eligible for government subsidized health insurance. so i could not really get too self righteous.
