Has anyone else become a truck driver? What was it like? As I said in another post, I’m trying to find a way to pay for CDL/driving school

I have an autistic friend that drives trucks and she told me that there are other autistic drivers in her company. It could be a good option. I have ADHD too, and it wouldn't be for me

Oilfield truckers make great money in Texas and in the oil patch around the country not just Texas.I think they can make up to 6 figures.However trucking is likely going to be automated at some point so I would not make it your final career at this point.I wanted to be a trucker but I just could not handle driving big rigs although I did work in the trucking industry at one point.
