So I got called into the office by HR, because they sensed unusual activity on my computer. So background: my company had me pick assignments, and you would have to click for up to an hour at a time in order to get work. So my idea was to build a PowerShell script that would refresh, check how many cases there were, and would then grab an assignment. When I did this normally, I would never get a case, but then I went to getting 1-2 cases a day. They then said did you use this in order to slack off, and it was like no, except to grab a glass of water or juice or use the restroom.
It frustrated me that I am trying to improve my lot and not endanger the company, but I get in trouble for it (well they are investigating). One of them was shocked as most people use physical mouse jigglers and this why as a first for them (not a mous ejiggler but something similar). Also a customer at my other job said I should get another job. I wish I could on this job market, it is just disheartening at the moment that people thing I am smart, but then smart jobs require 5 years experience. Grrr. They would rather a work drone.
