Hi yall,
I am looking for a career. I have been out of college for close to a decade now. I only worked one month out of all that time at a W2 job. I have been with my family's company that invests in oil deals in Texas since college.There is no hope of scaling up that business at this point in time.I have always wanted to be a small business owner since I was a kid.I just dont know what kind of business.

One business I became aware of that could work are laundromats.I have enough money or will have money shortly to buy a laundromat with cash.No bank will lend to me because I dont have a good income and I lack credit.One trouble I have run into with wanting to own a business is that its normally advised to work in a business before you go out on your own but I cant do that because nobody will hire me.I heard that laundromats have a high success rate and that you can automate a lot of the work.This would be in Texas.Thanks in advance.

I don’t recommend running this kind of business as they are often gateways into organized crime syndicates. There may be a truly independent version out there somewhere in the universe but most of them are bought out by collectives. You run the risk of either being forced to join them or sabotaged by their members. They will break your machines, equipment and facilities, forcing you to install surveillance cameras, which will be hacked and controlled by them too.

Unfortunately this is the reality of our world. I watch this type of activity happening everywhere around me and I am powerless to stop it. Be very careful who you choose to be part of your network.
