Well, yes and no. My job is the kind one has to be present at the office for, but when the covid restrictions hit in 2020, I worked a few months remotely, doing a different task that I normally did at work. Have done that a few times after that too when our work space was being renovated and such... I guess one would call it more of a hybrid position than actual remote work.
As for the living wage, I suppose so, though barely.
