My parents talked to the head boss at Fry's food store, and the boss says that as long as I can communicate with the people (co-workers, customers, etc.), she is willing to give me a try. (NOT that I have to rely on my parents all the time)
I might finally have a job. (I'm 16)
Congratulations! And, good luck. You'll find that in a food store, people are already there to buy what they want. Therefore, most communication is just basic pleasantry. They aren't usually depending on you to do much but the basics of the job, and being courteous.
Co-workers can be another issue. Just watch how people respond to each other, and then follow in kind as much as you can. Don't try being something other than yourself, however. That never works.
