I'd like to earn a little cash that I can spend myself (all my birthday/Christmas money goes to college), but I'm afraid of most jobs that deal with other people. Does anyone have any suggestions of part time jobs that are good for aspies? I was thinking of some type of filing job but I don't know exactly what it is.

I distribute weekly newspapers since years, you normally don't have to talk to people much more than exchange greetings and it's good to be physically active.

Do you like to work outside? You can do grass cutting and/or garden work.

Restocking supermarket shelves is a solitary type job.

You could get a job at a restaurant, washing the dishes. It's pretty solitary, but you do get SOME interaction with all different kinds of people. You could also try a job as a "kennel kid" at a veterinary clinic. Basically, you clean the cages and dog runs, feed the boarders, and walk the dogs. Again, a little interaction with the vet. and the techs, but mostly you're just with the animals. I liked both of those jobs because I wasn't FORCED to socialize.

I did a lot of filing when I was an administrative assistant, but I didn't have the right personality for the other aspects of that job. I'm sure there are places that hire people JUST to file, but I don't know what those would be. I only got better at social aspects through "practicing", and a lot of that occurred at my after school jobs, so keep that in mind. Adults will be more patient with you than other h.s. kids, and you can observe people too.

Overnight stocker at a retail store, although those are typically full time.

Security guard in an office building - just sit at the desk and call the cops if anything happens.

Any kind of delivery service - pizza, courier, etc.

Data entry - you can sometimes find part-time hours in this

Library shelf stocker

I worked for a dog-walking agency for awhile, which worked out pretty well. I made $10 per half hour walk. There's a lot of freedom in it, which was nice. The downside is that it's pretty tough physically, as I was walking non-stop for several hours, sometimes in snowstorms, heat waves, rain. It's also something you could do without an agency, putting up flyers etc.

I'm currently working pt as a personal assistant, I like it, it's low-stress.

I work at walmart as a casher, it seems like a pretty social job from the outside. getting to 'work' with other employees that 'have' to except you, because of company policys if nothing else can open you up. and to be a casher all you need to do is memorize a good script. if money isn't your strong point, adding and subtracting and stuff. the technology makes it so easy that 'i' can do it and thats saying something. lol.
