Suppose you are working for an employer whose clients are personal friends of his. Do you find it difficult to navigate the landscape on when to bend the rules or "go by the book" because that's what state regulations require? Does your boss think you are too rigid in "going by the book"? Are you reluctant to accept favors from the boss because you would not know how or be very anxious about reciprocating in return? The boss busts your chops and thinks you are a trip. But deep down he likes you and sees you as "family" like his close associates. Does anyone feel like they stumble over tripwires when others navigate the landscape without difficulty?
