More & more I notice myself unable to focus on one single thing, being more & more absorbed into the darkest corners of wikipedia. Is this a problem-- can I gain from this as a career somehow? Or should I really get back to focusing on one thing?

I've wasted countless hours on wikipedia without learning a whole lot.

You could write a book about it

Unfortunately, esoteric knowledge is pretty useless until you have a college degree and a job, and even then it only focuses on a part of that knowledge. And college is all about focusing and researching things you largely couldn't give a damn about. So if you're gonna be on wikipedia for a while, check out some of the more practical things, like how an internal combustion engine works or how to retile a roof, cause they might just come in handy.
