I've been in corporate workforce for about 7 years now. When I first started I had goals and didn't care about the juicy salary or guaranteed promotions rather just wanted a challenge and see the world. Now its all different. They forced me into a boring job and now I have laxidazy approach to work and lost any sense of urgency about anything there... I stopped caring about it and I want to leave but Im committed for another 2 1/2 years. Everyone else around me works hard and are worried about losing their job but the position I'm in is safe. Quite frankly I could care less.

I feel like Peter Gibbons from Office Space. I swear one of my bosses is the offspring of Dilbert and Mr. Lumberg. He asks me to come in on weekends for no overtime and he walks by the cubicles about every thirty minutes making sure we are working. The only goals I seemed to have is to save and invest enough money to retire within the next six years and do something meaningful rather than be enslaved to TPS reports for the rest of my life. Does anyone else feel like that? Anyone else work in the corporate world and hate the TPS reports?
