Hi

I have been looking for jobs recently. I would be willing to work a lot of hours after school each day but probably not Saturday, because I already have my current job which I make $15 per hour doing but on average get about 6 or 8 hours every 2 weeks in. Champs Sports said they would hire me (I am in high school, not 18 yet) but there are no Champs within about 15 miles of my house and getting there would be a problem.

I was thinking I would really like to work cashing checks, working with gold, trading currency, etc. How old do you have to be to work at a bank, even if I have a work permit from school? Also how much would I make per week if I worked at a bank?

I am really good with numbers, polite, clean looking, etc. and banks are usually very open and clean so I would love to work at one.

Thanks,
Mike

Ummmmm, no, and I speak as someone who used to work at a bank. The pay sucks, the pressure of work will drive you crazy and as someone with AS do you really want to face one total stranger after another day after day?

As for foreign currency or metals trading, most of the people you will see on the TV screen will burn out before they are thirty. One mistake could lose billions.

Walk away friend.
