I've found a local job vacancy that's only available to disadvantaged jobseekers, i.e. people who are usually excluded from work opportunities such as physically disabled, learning disabled and mentally ill people. The amount of experience required is negligible. They only require good computer skills which I can prove I have. I've never had a job because in the past have not found openings or had the required experience.

I'm posting this because I need some advice. Will working on an aeroplane checking food and electronic equipment is to a high standard for a minimum wage, generally during night hours, be good for me? I see a lot of my family regularly and I suppose I'm just scared of change. With one of my sisters (and her husband) and my mother I feel very close to and really enjoy their company so I don't want to lose them. The job is apparently during the hours of 10PM - 6PM on average so I'm wondering how that will affect my sleeping and ability to live a normal, sane life.

The reason I've asked to fill in an application for the job is I'm almost bankrupt from travelling - which I'm obsessed with - so I thought why not look for a job that gives me that benefit freely. Any thoughts? Cheers!

Go for it!
You will need to figure out when your sleep period will be and when your visiting time with family will be. There will be an adjustment time and you may need to line your windows with foil or get blackout curtains and get earplugs. You might need to take melatonin an hour or two before bedtime. Lots of people have learned how to work that shift. You will too.
How blessed it would be to get a job that lets you indulge in your obsessions!

It sounds great, like it'll lend you a lot of experience and hopefully help you to not have the problems of not enough experience in the future. I imagine you'll feel pretty bad in the ajustment period to the hours but enough time at it and your body will get used to it.
