I was nearly moved to tears! My son was standing in time-out crying, my husband was supervising, I was in the kitchen cooking. Bug suddenly says "MAMA!" clear as a bell! I bolted to the living room and said, "Did he just say mama?" as he repeated it AGAIN! I scooped him up and hugged him and kissed him and did a happy dance around the room!
My 23 month old son FINALLY CALLED ME MAMA!! !! !! ! I cannot possibly convey how happy this makes me, for so many reasons!

Poor Bug, he stood there in time-out.

Congratulations to you both!! It is 6:40 am, you have brought me to tears, ....so happy for you! That is one of the most precious words a parent can hear , and I know it is a moment that stays with you..bless you both.
